Porti Italia Network

About Us.

An independent editorial network of territorial guides for those arriving by sea, port after port, along the entire Italian coastline.

What we are — and what we are not

Porti Italia is a network of independent territorial guides dedicated to Italian ports. Each domain in the network tells the story of a specific port: what to see, where to stay, how to get around, which experiences to book as soon as you step off the ship.

We are not an official website. We are not a Port System Authority portal. We are not an OTA (Online Travel Agency). We are an independent editorial team building territorial guides specific to each port, with the goal of answering the question every traveler asks the moment they step ashore: now what?

How we work

Each guide in the network is built around a specific port territory, with editorial content verified against the sources available at the time of writing. Our editorial process makes use of AI-assisted content drafting, always under the supervision and coordination of our editorial team. We state this openly at the bottom of every page in the network, because we believe in being transparent with our readers.

Practical information — schedules, connections, prices, distances — can change over time. We always recommend verifying operational details (ferry schedules, prices, availability) directly with operators or official sources before planning a trip.

Independent

No affiliation with Port Authorities, shipping companies or institutional bodies. Free editorial content only.

Territorial

Each guide tells the story of a specific territory — not generic content replicated across multiple domains.

For those arriving by sea

Our guides are designed for those who have just stepped ashore and need immediate, practical answers.

Coast to coast

From the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic, from major islands to minor ports, constantly expanding along the entire Italian coastline.

Monetization and transparency

The network is supported through affiliate links to selected partners (experiences, accommodation, transport, rentals) and advertising space. Where applicable, this is clearly indicated next to the relevant links. Using these links comes at no extra cost to you. For more details, see our Disclaimer.
